January 15, 2025   Disneyland 6:23 am call time Wednesday

Concert Band – Soundtrack session for Disneyland Clinic 

Bring your instrument (except percussion) - wear comfortable non offensive clothes, dress for the weather.  Goal is to leave Chaminade MS by 6:26 am.
Leaving Disneyland close to 8pm and returning to school around 9:30 pm.

January 28, 2025  Founder's Day 7am Tuesday

Concert Band Performance with High School Band  - Report to Middle School Band room at regular Concert Band time - Bring your instrument (stick bag), music, Mass attire  

Feb/Mar, 2025   SCSBOA Band Festival 7am-3:30pm Tuesday

Concert Band Performance of 3 pieces & sightreading clinic for SCSBOA Band Festival - Bring instrument, wear formal attire, bring change of clothes

March 2025  Cap & Gown measurements 8 am Wednesday

For 8th graders only Measuring takes only about 30 seconds.  Concert Band 8th graders will head up to the measurement area at a designated time and come return to class.   Make sure to show up on time for class.

Apostolic Works Opportunity:  Instrument trying out - meeting & greeting incoming students & representing our school

April 4-6, 2025   World Strides Heritage Festival 7am-1pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Concert Band – Performance of 3 pieces & clinic for World Strides Heritage Band Festival - Bring your instrument, formal attire, change of clothes for 3 days. Includes Universal Studios, California Adventure, Festival Performance, and Overnight stay in hotel.

May 9, 2025  All Day Tech Rehearsal 7:30am-3:30pm  Friday

All grades, all classes, all Ensembles - Tech Rehearsal for Spring Concert

Bring your instrument & Music wear uniform - 7am Concert Band, Block A/E Tech Crew, Block B/F 6th & 7th grade Bands, Block C8th Advanced Band & Composition, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble  

May 10, 2025  Concert  Call Time 12:27pm  2:00-4pm Saturday

All grades, all classes, all Ensembles - Performance for Spring Concert

Bring your instrument - wear formal attire - 6th Grade Beginning Band, 7th Intermediate Band, 8th Advanced Band & Composition, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble  

Location:  Arts & Athletic center

May 30, 2025   Concert Band Party 12-2pm Friday

Concert Band End of Year Bowling Party – celebrating working hard - Food included - wear comfortable non offensive clothes, dress for the weather

Summer Thursdays, 2025   Starting Thurs June 19 9:00-12:30

Apostolic Work Hours: Band – Performance Prepping the band room and binders for upcoming year - also transcribing music for pep books - Bring money for pizza - wear casual attire.
