Don't give up.  You are brilliant.  Allow yourself to fail and improve.  Accomplishing each song can be very rewarding.

This is a new skill in your life.

To prepare for class, practice measure 7 of each piece of music or one measure 5 times well.  We will play most or all of the song in class, but you need at least this minimal practice to prepare for class.  If you can practice more measures that is even better, BUT you must have time to eat, sleep, be with family.
